THE BASICS:
I am a native Floridian, but moved around quite a bit until I was 16 and moved back to Melbourne. In 2005 I “formally” met Brent my husband. We actually went to the same High School together and graduated in 2001. After graduating we both moved over to Lakeland in 2002. I was attending Southeastern University and he was a manger at Journey’s (shoe store) in the Lakeland Mall. After two years of being in Lakeland I moved back home in 2004 and began working at a Dr. office in Palm Bay. Brent’s parents were patient’s there and I usually saw them on a weekly basis. They knew Brent and I went to school together, but we didn’t really know each other even with the coincidence of living in Lakeland at the same time. When his parent’s got to know me a little better they started calling Brent in Lakeland telling him about me and eventually he moved home in 2005. Once he was home he found me through a mutual friend. We very quickly realized our mutual passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers. We basically became instant friends and about 3 months later started dating. To make a very long story shorter, then we were engaged Valentine’s Day 2006 and Married that following summer.
In January of 2007 we received the most amazing gift we could have ever received. Our little man Noah Brent. He is such a blessing and has changed both of us for the best and we love watching him grow and learn everyday. He is our Sunshine!
BIRTHDAY: March 27, 1983
MY INTERESTS:
Places: I love the water, so anywhere there is an ocean or pool. I love cruises and amusement parks! Other than that, I love going to the park with my husband and son.
What's on your iPod: Well, if I knew how to work it a little better, there would be a lot more stuff on it, but I love all kinds of music. I will listen to anything at least once.
Books: I know this might be weird, but I found one of my favorite books my senior year in high school. The title is Candide by Voltaire. It is a political comedy that is written during the French Revolution, but you don't realize it is about politics. It is very comical. Anyways, besides that, I enjoy reading books that will further my walk with God and help me encourage others.
What do you TiVo: I don't have that option, but if I did, I would TiVo House, American Idol, and pretty much anything on TLC or The Food Network.
Sport Teams: THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS!!!!
Movies: I am definitely one for comedy because laughter is good medicine!
Hobbies: Stamping, scrap booking, softball, and being with my family and friends.
Dislikes: People who make other people feel bad about themselves.
Odd Facts: I love having clean sheets right out of the dryer on my bed at night. I love salsa and spaghetti sauce, but I don't like tomatoes. I have to have ice in my drinks even if it is already cold. I don't like swimming in water if I can't see my feet; it creeps me out. Oh, also, roaches, palmetto bugs, and salamanders make my skin crawl!
